How requests, quotes, payments and deliveries work when we source something for you.
Requests are free
Sending a request costs nothing and does not commit you to anything.
Quotes
Our quote shows the full landed cost: the item at the supplier's price converted to shillings, our sourcing and verification fee (KES 2,000 per request), international shipping, estimated duties and taxes, and delivery in Kenya. Quotes are valid for 10 days because supplier prices and exchange rates change.
Duties and taxes
Import duty, VAT and other charges are set by the Kenya Revenue Authority when your item arrives. We quote our best estimate. If the final amount differs by more than 10%, we tell you before delivery and the difference is added to or credited against your order.
Approval and payment
When you approve a quote, you pay in full by Lipa na M-Pesa. We buy only after payment is confirmed.
Supplier verification
We verify suppliers before buying, for example by video call, business documents, platform ratings, references or a sample. We share what we checked on request.
After purchase
Once we have bought your item, the order cannot be cancelled. You can follow sourcing, shipping, customs and delivery in your account.
Exchanges
Items sourced to your specification are not exchangeable unless what arrives is different from what you approved, is defective, or was damaged in transit. Report it on the day your order is delivered (by 11:59 pm Nairobi time) with photos. Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under Kenyan law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
Prohibited items
We do not source weapons, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, or anything that cannot legally be imported into Kenya.
